Youth Scholarship Opportunities
By Mary Lynly

There will be a new NCAA women's bowling program in southern New Hampshire next season (2014-2015). Kim Berit, Head Women’s bowling coach at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire says they are looking for high school seniors who are interested in a scholarship opportunity to not only bowl for us but create history at our university. Some advantages these women will have is they won't have to compete with a full roster to make the travel bus. Everyone on the team will travel to every tournament and have an equal opportunity to bowl.

Not only will those selected have a chance to receive a bowling scholarship, they can also receive an academic scholarship which ranges from $8,000-$19,000. Depending on the family's financial situation, they can also qualify for financial aid for around $42,000 (including room and board.) Costs could be as low as $15,000 a year. Of course numbers do change depending on the student's financial aid needs as well as academics.

If you have any questions or a student athlete who would like to contact me, my information is below. Thank you!
