Mystery Speaker Named And the Winner is……….

To stimulate interest in the upcoming annual Media and Publicity Luncheon, the California Bowling Writers (CBW) are currently running a contest for bowlers in the region to guess the keynote speaker. The Luncheon, held in conjunction with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) California Association Convention, is scheduled for June 2, at the Town and Country Resort Hotel located in Mission Valley, the heart of San Diego and once again supported by Jennifer Cunningham, Director of Sales & Marketing, Circus Circus Reno ~ An MGM/MIRAGE Property

Weekly clues have been posted on the writers website (www.calbowlingwriters.org) and after five (5) weeks of intrigue, we have our first winner, Joan Feinblum, former member of the WIBC Board and past president of the California Women's Bowling Association. As the first contestant to guess the correct name, our winner, Ms. Feinblum, will receive a complimentary ticket to the Luncheon. Then on May 15th, CBW will have a drawing of all the additional correct answers and will award one more prize.

Plan your trip to San Diego now for an interesting afternoon of Mind Games. The luncheon promises to provide a thought-provoking afternoon. Get ready to test your skills with boggling brainteasers, IQ quizzes, memory games and interactive puzzles. Meet our mystery speaker and our members. You just might have a good time and want to join the group.

The California Bowling Writers (CBW), formed in 1998, is open to all California bowling journalists, promoters and supporters of the sport of bowling.

The purpose of the organization is to encourage and educate both members and non-members in communication through print, promotion and use of electronic media. At the same time, CBW will recognize and reward those who create media awareness by providing outstanding bowling photography and journalistic excellence.
