SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The California Bowling Writers (CBW) are partnering with Steve Cook’s Fireside Lanes in Citrus Heights, Calif. To make the first regular stop on the new Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour (PWBA) extra special for the bowlers and guests. The PWBA tournament will be held July 9-12, 2015. Media kits will be available on-site and each of the participants will receive a “Welcome to California” gift-bag. Fireside Lanes has always been a gold mine in the Sacramento area and will be completely remodeled when the ladies hit the lanes. Steve has “Cooked Up” a pro-am and sweeper to whet the appetites of bowlers of all ages and abilities.

CBW will host their Board and Annual Membership meetings on July 11, at the Crowne Plaza in Sacramento in conjunction with the tournament. “After being aligned with the California USBC for sixteen years, it was time for a change,” said President Mary Lynly. “We look forward to going in a new direction and are excited that our media members will have access to the professional women during the tournament.”
